Gluten Free

As bakers we recognize that our customers may require more than just a the gluten rich products that are typically found in a bakery. While gluten free baked goods are more readily available in stores, they’re not always very tasty though.

Because of this we’ve done a lot of work to develop new gluten free recipes of your old favorites. We even have also researched recipes from around the world to find great gluten free treats that perhaps you’ve never heard of. We hope that you give them a try and share them with your friends too!

In 2015 we started our very own gluten free sourdough culture. Fed by a mix of brown rice and teff flours it’s been going strong ever since. Local duck eggs are added to our recipe and give our bread the stretchy quality that gluten would usually provide. So while it’s not a vegan option. It’s definitely delicious!

Knäckebröd (Swedish crackers)

These seeded crackers are a huge hit whenever we bring them to market. We use all organic seeds, local cormeal, and non-gmo canola oil to make them extra tasty. They look a little more like bird food than people food but man oh man are they good!

Energy Balls

We’ve make a wide variety of energy balls over the years. Cherry almond, maple pecan, cashew cardamom, and our favorite of all time, gingerbread. There’s no added sugar (though in some there’s organic maple syrup) in any of our energy balls, just dried fruit, nuts, and spices. Our energy balls also vegan and paleo for those so inclined.

Believe it or not, many if our gluten free cookies are so good that we don’t even make the gluten-full versions of them anymore. None of that sandy texture that you find so often. Just flippin delicious.

Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chipotle, Molasses, Peanut butter, Chewy Cashew, Persian Cardamom cookies, and Spiced Snowballs

Our gluten free biscuits were developed especially for a family member so they could get a little more on their plate for Thanksgiving.

Pies are one of our favorite things in the world, and we do our best to make sure that there are great gluten free options for you as well. We’ve developed several types of pie crust that match up with any pie around. Our Pecan, Cookie, Graham Cracker, and Pastry crusts simply can’t be beat! Try one with any of these delicious pies.

Lemon Meringue, Banana Pudding, Custard, Pumpkin, Pumpkin Chiffon, Apple, S’mores, Key Lime, Peach, Rhubarb, Bumbleberry, Butternut, Peach, Chocolate Silk, Peanut Butter, Fluffer Nutter, Eggnog

Several of the gluten free pie crusts also do a good job keeping a cheesecake. Plain NY style, Chocolate Chip, or Pumpkin, we can even add on Caramel, Rhubarb or Peach sauce for a finishing touch.

Our first gluten free cake was by request for a friend that wanted it for their birthday. As it turned out she had no intention of sharing it with anyone else so of course they also ordered a second (gluten-full) cake for everyone else to eat.
